Value: 266 Crore | Satish Sugars is planning to expand molasses-based distillery at Gokak taluka in Belagavi district of Karnataka. The project will entail an investment of Rs 266 crore.
Some of the projects which will see expansion are -- distillery from 60 klpd to 120 klpd, sugar cane crushing from 10,000 TCD to 15,000 TCD and so on.
The project will provide 235 direct employment and 1,000 indirect employment. In October 2019 Satish Sugars received the environment clearance (EC).
work on the project is expected to commence by April 2020.
